Environmental stewardship is at the center of Hyundai Translead efforts. We build our trailers with the future in mind, driving innovation that leads to greener possibilities. Reducing our carbon footprint, and helping our customers reduce their impact as well, is a core value at the heart of our product development efforts.

People

We believe in giving back to our people, investing in their families and their communities. Through our corporate giving program, we are able to donate money to organizations our employees are passionate about. Our hope is to serve as a force multiplier, supporting organizations that support communities.

Communities

We prioritize volunteering in the communities where we live and work, through personal involvement or financial support of local organizations and services. Hyundai Translead and our employees are woven into the fabric of these communities and are committed to their communal health and well-being.

Achieved ISO 45001 certification affirming our dedication to maintaining the highest standards of occupational health and safety throughout our operations.

Our plants in Mexico hold STPS Safe Company Certification, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations to provide a safe workplace for our employees across all facilities.

Our Efforts 

Thriving Together: Family-Focused Community Support

Part of building a flourishing community for our employees means supporting their families. We do this through holding family day events and donating a set of school supplies to each of our employee’s children.

Where Community and Conservation Meet

We actively plan community service days that allow us to engage in environmental conservation efforts by organizing park, beach and school clean-up events for our employees, empowering them to make a difference on the ground in their local communities.

Our Journey to an Eco-Friendly Workplace

At Hyundai Translead, we believe small actions drive significant change. We encourage and promote eco-friendly alternatives to single-use plastics and have
contributed to a more positive work environment by offering our team some plants for their workplaces.

Building Beyond the Office: Subsidized Home Renovations 

We offer our employees access to free home renovations, improving their economic and living conditions. So far, over 30 of our employees in Rosarito, Mexico, have benefited from this program. Our goal is to continue to expand to ensure all of our employees thrive.

San Diego Community Volunteers

We are grateful for our community and actively participate in volunteer events and donation drives to give back. We organize efforts to clean and enhance local
community parks, support food drives, collect supplies for care packages, help local schools, and more.

Backpacks and School Supply Program

Hyundai Translead invests USD $60,000 annually providing around 2,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to preschool, elementary, or high school children of our employees, promoting and encouraging education while reducing employee expenses.

Employees Get Involved

Double the Impact

Hyundai Translead is committed to doubling the impact of employee generosity. Through the Matching Gift program, Hyundai Translead matches employee donations to eligible 501(c)(3) organizations dollar-for-dollar, up to $1,000 annually. By combining our employees’ incredible generosity with our support, we can create a greater positive change in the communities where we live and work. Together, we can make twice the difference for the causes that matter most to our people and our communities.

Getting Personal

When Hyundai Translead employees volunteer for their favorite causes, we want to amplify the impact! For every 20 hours employees volunteer with an eligible 501(c)(3) organization, Hyundai Translead will provide a $400 grant to that organization. Employees’ personal time is valuable, and so is their volunteer work. The company is proud to support everyone’s dedication to volunteering. This grant can be combined with our Matching Gift program for a total of $1,000 per employee annually. Let’s maximize our impact together!

Time to Help

Hyundai Translead employees can give back to the community during work hours with our Volunteering Paid Time Off (VPTO). Employees can use up to 40 hours of paid time off each year to volunteer at eligible organizations, ensuring they can make a huge difference without using up personal PTO. This dedicated volunteering PTO lets them give back to the community while still meeting work commitments. Hyundai Translead is committed to making volunteering part of our work-life balance!
