Nashville, TN – March 17, 2026

Today, Hyundai Translead unveiled the Juneau refrigerated truck  body. With planned general availability in 2027, this solution is engineered to deliver enhanced  thermal performance, optimized cargo capacity, and simplified logistics through a flexible kit delivery design.

Designed to meet the evolving demands of temperature-controlled logistics, Juneau offers a  customizable approach to deliver reliable performance. Juneau is constructed with high-quality  structural components and corrosion-resistant materials to support consistent performance  across demanding operating environments. Standard features include a dedicated over cab  maintenance platform, integrated steps, and strategically placed in-set grab handles that provide  reliable accessibility for daily operations.

Like the Anza dry truck body released last year, Juneau is designed for kit delivery, allowing ease of  distribution and onsite assembly. This approach helps reduce shipping costs, streamline logistics,  and improve lead time flexibility while maintaining Hyundai Translead’s standards of reliability and  quality.

Juneau supports a wide range of configurable options, including side doors, walk ramps, side platforms, and liftgate compatibility. Its modular design, including universal compatibility with  refrigeration units, allows fleets and upfitters to configure the body to specific cargo and loading  requirements.

When fully commercialized, Juneau will be available with industry proven polyurethane foam  insulation as a standard offering. Hyundai Translead’s new advanced insulation system, HT Hana,  first shown at TMC in 2025, will also be optionally available. HT Hana enables even higher levels of  thermal performance while offering improved interior dimensions and best-in-class serviceability  over the life of the system.

“Juneau reflects our commitment to smarter engineering across both dry and refrigerated truck  bodies,” said Douglas Coffing, Senior Director of LTL Sales. “By combining conventional and  advanced thermal options with a kitdelivery approach, we’re giving truck body customers greater  flexibility and value in their daily operations.”
