Hyundai Translead will serve as the official distributor of Hyundai\u2019s XCIENT Fuel Cell Trucks in North America. This marks a significant step forward in delivering sustainable and innovative solutions, providing customers with direct access to zero-tailpipe emission, hydrogen-powered trucks. <\/span><\/p>\nBy offering a unified platform for its leading van trailers, commercial vehicles, and emerging technologies, Hyundai Translead is reimagining what\u2019s possible for the customer and the industry. This will further simplify procurement, enhance operational efficiency, and support the evolving needs of fleet operations. <\/span><\/p>\nThe XCIENT Fuel Cell is the world\u2019s first mass-produced hydrogen-powered heavy-duty truck, showcasing Hyundai\u2019s commitment to zero-tailpipe emission technology and progress in commercial transportation.<\/span><\/p>\nSince its global launch in 2020, Hyundai has delivered over 3,500 fuel cell commercial vehicles worldwide, including more than 250 heavy-duty XCIENT Fuel Cell Trucks, along with a range of transit and coach buses. In California, Hyundai has deployed 35 XCIENT Fuel Cell Trucks through two major initiatives: 30 trucks as part of the NorCAL ZERO Project and 5 additional trucks supported by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency\u2019s Targeted Airshed Grants (TAG) program.
