Job Summary
The Aftermarket Associate I supports the Aftermarket team by processing and managing plant orders, including tracking shipment status, coordinating with buyers on availability, expediting components, moving material in SAP to specific locations, reporting and order invoicing. This position contributes to the overall mission of Hyundai Translead by providing innovative solutions and improving the customer care experience.
Essential Functions
- Process plant transfers for the Aftermarket
- Search for stock availability and get permission of usage from Procurement buyers
- Create and send weekly reports to customers
- Track status and shipping of plant transfers using internal processes and expedite when necessary
- Resolve issues to fulfill plant transfers promptly
- Communicate with the outsourcing department to track all fabricated and purchased components
- Maintain and distribute customer shipment reporting
- Transfer materials to the proper location in the SAP system for exporting
- Create and send Bill of Ladings to customers
- Escalate issues or missed deadline time to management to achieve a committed delivery date
- Process and maintain records of all freight bills on all shipments
- Create and process credit and debit invoices for sales, claims, and returns
- Process and manage any customer claims (damaged, lost, wrong, or missing parts)
- Update and archive Sales Orders upon payment confirmation received from Accounting Department
- Assist with customer follow-up regarding Account Receivables
- Answer inbound phone calls from customers promptly and politely
- Receive and respond to customer requests using email and phone calls
- Provide parts cross-reference information to customers
- Exceed customers’ expectations by demonstrating the highest level of customer service
- Follow up with internal or external parties to provide prompt solutions for customers
- Communicate any urgent customer service issues to management
- Continuously improves processes to become more efficient
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to learn about the heavy-duty trailer industry
- Previous experience using Excel (basic data entry, will train to perform v-lookup)

Rate of Pay $23.80 – $27.36 per hour (final compensation will be determined based on relevant years of experience).
